Book Signing for Street Cats

Street Cats book Signing at Panera Bread, 15th and Utica, Tulsa, OK, on May 6th from 5 to 9 PM

Street Cats is a hard working No Kill Rescue Agency in Tulsa. They are rescuing kitties off the streets and from owners where they can no longer be cared for and finding homes for them. They provide medical care, shots and spaying/neutering for all their small charges before adopting them out.

Their upcoming fund raiser at Panera Bread is as simple as an individual or family dropping by for something to eat between 5 and 9 PM next Thursday. Tell Panera you are there for Street Cats and they will donate 10% of your tab to the agency. They have invited me for a Billy's World, book signing. All of the profits from book sales will be going to Street Cats. The newsletter link giving more information about the event is:

Channel Six did a piece last year about one of StreetCats small charges who was looking for a home . The Kitty's name is Tucker. Someone had broken his jaw and it had not healed properly. They called him the Kitty with the crooked mouth and some people were turned away by his look. Someone came in who fell in love with Tucker and he finally found his forever home. SB 1712 - Oklahoma Puppy mill Bill has passed

Today (4-29-2010) was a good day in our never ending battle for Animal Rights in Oklahoma. Today the final roadblock was overcome, permitting the passage of SB1712, the Commercial Breeder's Bill (aka: puppy mill bill or black-market breeder's bill). The bill in now going to Governor Henry where I'm sure he will sign it into law. I want to thank all of you for your support of this small step to bring Oklahoma out of the animal rights dark ages. We must follow its progress toward enforcement.
